Cancer would probably never think of itself as a cancer, but as the most superior species of cells ever born. Indeed, it would never think that it was killing it's host, the world it was born into, but be convinced by it's own growth, its own conquests and expansion, and its ability to subdue all it encounters to its will, that it was not only the most superior form of cells that ever lived, but that the entire body it was born into - the only universe it knows - was created specifically for it and it alone.
And if it was capable of imagining anything greater than itself, it would most likely imagine a being that was just like itself, only infinity greater.
Sound familiar?
