Christianity teaches us to love "our father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name,.." This "father figure" is the god who created us, so we are taught to "believe," who is as infinitely greater to us as we are to a spermatozoa. A newborn infant, on the other hand, is likewise much greater than the spermatozoa from whence it, when combined with female gametes or "ova." And the intelligence of the adult is on average of a much higher order than that of the newborn infant, in the same way that the intelligence that is said to have given birth to humanity is believed to be on a much higher order of intelligence than that of even the smartest human beings throughout history.
